| Acrylic is a soft material and if not handled properly can scratch.
Cleaning: For cleaning your acrylic mirror, use a mild detergent or soap using a clean, dry, soft dry cloth.
To avoid leaving scratches on the acrylic, it is recommended not to aggressively wipe the mirror, or to clean too often.
Polishing: Apply a thin coat of spray wax to the acrylic mirror lens. With a dry, soft cloth gently wipe the mirror clean. The wax will help polish the acrylic mirror and fill in small scratches.
Tar, Paint or Grease removal : Using a soft cloth, apply a light amount of kerosene or naptha. To avoid leaving scratches, it is recommended not to aggressively wipe the mirror.
Never use: Glass cleaners, gasoline, acetone or household cleaners on Superior Mirror security mirrors. |
